• Question: Do you ever meet the people you actually test in real life or do the doctors etc hand the cells to you

      Some of the cells I work with are very old! They came from a 69 year old nun in 1970! They have been growing since then and keep on growing! This is because we give them nutrients and warmth to keep them happy!
      Other cells that are in my lab are from people. These are taken by doctors and given to us. We don’t ever get to meet the people (unfortunately) although it might be a good thing or we would feel bad messing with their cells!
