Yes, I have. I won something called the Nutrition Society Silver Medal in honour of my research in 2005. That was a very proud moment for me.

In 2008, I won an award for the best physics student in the UK – it was based on my research that I did for my physics degree at university. Mostly the award was based on my ability to explain my research to people who are not scientists – this is something I really love to do!
Recently I won an award from the university where I did my PhD research for the best PhD research in the group.

I won best dissertation for my final year project in the last year of my degree and I won best student in my second year. The award for the final year project was the reason I got my PhD opportunity, so I’m glad I got that!
